My problem is I am looking for a winter boot which does not exist, yet it doesn't stop me trawling the net for them.
I want them to be black, yet brown; knee high, yet ankle; laced, but buckled. Plus with a sensible grip underneath for stumbling around wintry Scotland, low or no heel, and smart enough to wear to a restaurant.
Here is the problem - I need about 5 new pairs to fit this criteria.
These are my current favourites:
The buckled one
The vintage style ones - I have always liked the Victorian look
The pretty ones for wearing over jeans etc.
The sensible pair, from Timberland that might actually get me through winter and keep me warm:
Hmm, appears after all of that this is the only pair that are actually flat and warm. I guess that makes my decision clear.
Actually, maybe these are even better, for the flat, smart, warm combo. Courtesy of Hushpuppies
Now, can I get a pair in time for next weekend is the question????
