In April I have been............

reading............

Wool, by Hugh Howey
This is all part of an attempt to find a sci-fi book that I can read. So far so good. I'll probably read the rest of the trilogy. Picked up on this book from the Radio 2 Book club, which so far has proved a good source for trying something different.

I have interspersed this with:

Storm of Swords
Yup, I'll be on this journey all year! Nice to balance out with book above.

 watching...........

Kingdom of Heaven

looking for Moorish themes after Spanish hols. Jury's out on this film though. Can't decide if I liked it or not.

Carousel

A musical oldie. Warbling women not for me so much, but otherwise a good film. And reminds you that 'You'll never walk alone' started life here.

baking.......

Hmmmm, a mountain of work has made things light in this area.

I did make these beauties though. Hairy Bikers win again!

walking........

Quiet month on this front until the very end.

Found a really great path close to home. Even better on a sunny spring day. Love it when you discover gems on your doorstep like this.

enjoying spring unfurling.......

Watching the lambs on way to and from work everyday. Watching trees budding into leaf. Loving the daffodils....

Just let it warm up a few more degrees so we can turn the heating off please!
